Solution
The Raptor POS System is designed to be Functional, Flexible and Friendly. From the first day of development,
the aim was to create an easy to use touch screen point-of-sales system that incorporates powerful management
tools and yet affordable to the ever demanding hospitality industry.
Raptor POS for Windows 98/ME/2000 is a complete Food & Beverage Management System. Whether you are running a
fine dining restaurant, a high-volume bar or even a fast food chain, Raptor POS software can be configured to
meet your specific needs.

Cashless Environment
This feature was designed for schools and factories where a cashless operation is favoured. Students, staff and employees are provided with a card, which enables them to store value into their respective accounts. Once the account has been loaded with stored value, the customer simple presents the card to the point-of-sale operator who swipes it through the Raptor system. The value of purchases is then electronically deducted from their account. The key advantage of this feature, apart from efficiency and increase in meal intake, is that students no longer need to carry cash around with them. This will undoubtedly cut back on thefts and will also reduce bullying to some extend. Unlike a cash card, the dollar value is not embedded onto the card but stored in a central database. Therefore when one misplaces his/her card, the money is safe. A new card is then re-issue to the cardholder and the lost card is automatically made invalid.
Inventory Module

It also has a built in purchase order module, which makes your ordering process through suppliers much easier. Receiving goods now is just a matter of calling up a respective purchase order and hitting the received button.
Online, on the spot product balance report is also available on the fly. This way, manager can easily conduct spot checks at the bar. For instance, if he suspects that the bottled beers are being rigged, he can simple print a product balance report on the beers and get the bartender to physically count them to compare the figures.
The purpose of this software is to monitor stock movement, measure variances, determine cost of sales and measure inventory usage by creating recipes from your products.
Membership & Loyalty Points Module

In today’s highly competitive hospitality industry, the success of a food and beverage business boils down to its ability to expand and secure its customer base through personalisation of products and services to attract new patronage, encourage repeat visits and incite higher spending. All this requires timely and accurate information for strategic planning and decision making. The Raptor Membership and Loyalty Points Module provide exactly that.
Having a database of your members or loyal customers allows an effective tracking system. It allows you to track customers’ spending, frequency of visits, issue loyalty points and not forgetting a redemption scheme to incite more spending. The membership system is also a very powerful marketing tool that allows you to zoom in on specific members (eg. Top 30 spending Members) for review and promotional purposes.
The points system does not only award points based on dollar value spent but points can also be associated to specific items to make these items more attractive. Once enough points are accumulated, the member can redeem them for items offer by the outlet. All redemption can be performed at the point-of-sales terminal.
Reservation & Table Management

The reservation module allows restaurateurs to register table reservations directly
into the Raptor POS system. The name, number of guests, date, time and table
number allocation are recorded.Rather then writing reservations on a record
book, this way, the reservation can be tracked and maintained electronically.
A manager can easily call up the day’s reservations list for viewing or even
print out a hard copy.

The table management is great for bigger restaurants
where all the tables are not in full view from the reception area. A layout
of the table floor plan is displayed on the point-of-sale screen. This way,
the restaurant staff can easily view which tables are available, occupied and
even occupied but not attended to yet. Various colours are used to represent
these tables. For example, a blue table indicates that it has been occupied
for 15 minutes but no orders have been taken yet.
Management Report

The most important factor that makes a hospitality system complete is the ability to gather data and compute the data into useful information that appears in the form of reports. The Raptor POS system has a whole list of reports to select from. Many of these reports are used by the restaurant/bar management to assist in making business decisions. The Raptor report generator is flexible, easy to use and most importantly, comprehensive. All reports can be run in real-time for any date and time range. For instance, the owner may wish to run a report on last New Year’s Eve dinner sales between 6pm to 10pm. Furthermore, all reports generated by Raptor can be easily exported to Microsoft Excel or Word by a simple click of the mouse.
Cost Centre
The Cost Centre provides the ability for business owners or management to define operational costs such as monthly rental, salaries, utilities, maintenance, licences fees and any other fix cost that an establishment may have. This way, base on these defined costs, the sales revenue collected from the point-of-sale, and the cost of sales from the inventory module, a profit and lost statement can be generated to show the profitability of the business.

Easy-to-Use

Raptor POS was designed to be quick and easy to use. As we know some
bars can get very busy at times, and the worst thing to happen to you while
having a drink with some friends is having to wait 20 minutes for your bill
and your change. The POS interface screen was carefully designed so that all
type of transactions will take the minimum number of screen touches as possible. For instance, a bartender would only require 2
key presses to sell a beer to a guest at the bar. After all, isn’t the hospitality
industry all about providing excellent service? Therefore if your customers
are happy with your prompt and efficient service, your business will flourish
as well. The sad reality of the hospitality industry is its high labour turnover.
Raptor POS software provides you the ability to quickly train a bartender, new
cashier or even a new manager. All transactions are executed based on a logical
process, which incorporates screen layouts that makes the next key press almost
predictable. This means with the reduced training times, your staff can spend
more time serving customers instead, and this of course will contribute to the
success of your establishment.
